On July 28, containers loaded with Mongolian bituminous coal, organized and transported by Sam Energy Limited (hereinafter referred to as Sam Energy), entered the special railway of Datang Inner Mongolia Duolun Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Datang Duolun). As the first container of bituminous coal transported by railway from Mongolia to Datang Duolun, this transaction marks that Sam Energy, in collaboration with Datang Duolun, has successfully opened a new chapter in diversified transportation.

As an important part of Sam Energy's cross-border coal trade between China and Mongolia, the Datang Duolun project was officially launched at the end of 2023. Previously, Mongolian bituminous coal was mainly transported to China by road. Restricted by transportation conditions, this single mode not only has security control risks but also has low unloading efficiency, making it difficult to meet the growing production demands of the domestic market.

The railway container transportation of Mongolian coal coordinated and organized by Sam Energy this time has not only greatly improved transportation efficiency, reduced losses and pollution during transportation, but also enhanced the supply guarantee capacity of Mongolian coal, providing customers with a more efficient and economic transportation solution.
